Joan Isaacs was elected MLA for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain in 2017. She has served as the Official Opposition Critic for Seniors Care and is currently the Critic for Social Development and Poverty Reduction.
For three decades, Joan worked in the B.C. financial services industry. Prior to her election to the Legislature, Joan worked as a business consultant for non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Joan is passionate about mental health and restorative justice, youth and families, and improving housing and homelessness.
Joan has lived in Coquitlam for over 30 years. She and her husband Joe are the proud parents of two adult sons.
